SHY KITTY.   This beautiful sweet girl named Pepper Mill was found as a scared stray by a girl who started feeding her/providing outdoor shelter back in November '23. Pepper Mill ended up being pregnant and had 2 kittens which were found homes, but the girl wanted to bring Pepper Mill in to be fixed and have the chance at finding a loving and forever home where she can be cared for and loved just like she cared for her 2 kittens who were found homes :)  Pepper was brought in to West Side Cats on 2/9/24 and stayed in the clinic are for a few weeks to decompress and is now in rooms 3-4 but she is still extremely scared and hiding and can almost always be found in the back corner unit hiding... but if you come by her shaking treats she will pop her little head up and be thankful for the Chicken Temptation Treats you offer her! Our volunteers who work with her are able to pet her gently on the head :) Pepper has beautiful black fur and gorgeous golden eyes! She will for sure need a patient and loving person who will give her the chance she needs to know how it feels to be loved :) Could that be you? Pepper is fully vetted and up to date on all shots.
