West Side Cats was founded in 2008 by three women with a shared passion for helping special needs cats and kittens, rescuing and rehoming threm directly from their homes. What began as a small, home-based effort has since grown into a vital resource for the community.
Since its founding, WSC has adopted out over 4,800 cats and kittens, including seniors and those with special needs, all deserving of a second chance at life. We are often the last safe haven for cats and kittens in our area who might otherwise face euthanasis.
Every cat and kitten that leaves our care is spayed or neutered and receives proper veterinary care before adoption. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers, we rely solely on donations and adoption fees to continue our lifesaving work
