Kona was brought to WSC by one of our volunteers around the middle of February this year. He had been living outside in the parking lot area of an apartment complex for several months. Kona was being fed by the volunteer but would not come to him or let him pet or pick Kona up. The volunteer was moving and knew if he did not try to rescue Kona, and get him neutered along with the rest of his vet work done, Kona would be left to fend once again, for himself. He was trapped and brought to the shelter and we did all his vet work. For about three weeks, Kona would hide, cowering from volunteers and looking absolutely terrified. But then he started to come around us looking for treats, a lap or desk to lay on and being on his best behavior hoping his furever family comes to adopt him. Kona is a love bug. He will make a great addition to your family. We feel he probably had a family at one time and got dumped when they moved. His adoption fee is $80.00 and all his vet work is completed. Come spend some time with Kona, you will fall in love with him guaranteed.
