Emiri has come a long way in the past few months! She used to stay up high on the shelves when people came into her area (even the volunteers), but now she comes down and loves to be petted and loved! She has learned that we are not going to hurt her. Emiri is still a little shy with strangers but is coming around nicely! It is so nice to be able to pet her!! Her birthdate is 4/1/13 so she is just over 2 years old. She has the greatest markings! She is one of a kind sweetheart! Please come visit Emiri soon as I know someone will snatch her up! Emiri is at West Side Cats? but really wants her own person to love!

Update on Dash-UR!
Dash-UR! is a Male White with Black Spots Kitty. He has that unique moustache under his nose which is so cute! His birthdate is 8/2/2013. His owner moved and just left him behind so Dash-UR! is STILL looking for a new home! Why someone would just move and leave this wonderful guy to fend for himself is beyond me! He is so loving and mellow! Please come visit Dash at the West Side Cats soon! You will fall in love with him and can visit all his friends!
Update on Leonard at West Side Cats! If you remember Leonard, he was put out into a trash pile when his family decided to move and just discard him! Luckily he was saved from all that meanness, but his face was so messed up when he first came in. He is really coming along appearance wise but he is still terribly shaken up and extremely timid and afraid. If you do put your hand in his cage though, he will rub up against you and purr so Leonard is very loving despite what happened to him. Leonard needs a very quiet environment with no other pets or children. He is going to need someone who will work with him and be extremely patient with him. He is a very special guy! He was born on 7/1/14 so he is still pretty young. As you can see from the photos below – the after and before. He has come so far but has a long recovery emotionally ahead. If you live alone or with another adult and have some love and patience to spare – please come and see Leonard for yourself! He needs that someone special! Thanks! Pat

Ipsco is a Male DSH Black Cat with a little bit of white. There is nothing wrong with his eye – I woke him up from his nap and he was still half asleep! I needed to give him and all his friends canned food! I guess he didn’t mind since he got a full belly! Ipsco’s birthdate is 10/16/2014. He was living in a factory and being fed by the wonderful workers. They felt like Ipsco needed a family of his own though. Ipsco is so lovable and sweet! He would make such a great addition to your family! Please stop by to see him – you will be glad that you did!
